On July 7 there was a vehicle fire at Highway 41 and North Ave. The vehicle fire spread to the nearby vegetation and began to encroach on a lot with a big rig. A fast response by Fresno County Cal Fire and Fresno Fire Department got the blaze under control. Present on scene was E87, E89, WT90, E3, and E7. Fresno Sheriffs department was there for traffic control, as was CHP.
