This is a 1963 Ameriacan LaFrance pumper. In its time it was capable of pumping at a rate of 1250gpm. It was initialliy operated by the Tuscarora Fire Protection District in the area of Peoria, IL. It was sold by the department in 1980 for $4010. After this point I don't know all of its journey, but I found it in Sanger, Ca. This is 2,100 miles from where it started! It was purchased by its current owner and was shipped to him for $3,400. He purchased it off of eBay and has owned it for the past 10 years.

Additional note: I was advised by the owner that the engine is available for sale. I was not told a price, but was told they would sell it cheap, due to the owner being ill and needing funds. While I am sharing this, I am not involved in the sale and have no information.

If interested email me at Grae@GraeGerster.com and I will pass on your information.
